Most people use it defensively so if someone takes flight - chase them or predict where they will land. If you jump, levitate, then flight from the highest point, you can stay in the air for a good minute before you get within 'reasonable' firing range of the ground. I first used it as defence and overwatch, then started realising I could sneak attack or combine the levitation perk and holding spells to stay in the air for long enough for my 2nd spells to recharge - and with rare flight rune, usually the rune too. I haven't met anyone else that uses flight aggressively. So at this point it seems you either need aimbot or some aim assist to play this game, sounds good. This is completely unhelpful because I do this and they just fly around at lightspeed regardless. You can try to directly hit them with a fireball/wind slash too, or a fire tornado combo when they finally need to touch the ground once in a blue moon, but only lightning and ice truly counter people who like to stay up in the stratosphere all game. You need to use something like lightning bolts (the lightning element's spell attack), a thunderstorm sorcery (which hits at any height), or a frozen sniper bow to get people out of the sky.

The stone gauntlet is in the exact same boat too. Poison is also mostly useless against air dwellers for that reason. It is countered by people who are trying to make as much distance as possible between you and them.

It's spell is meant for close range because it's spread, and the poison puddle is meant for people who are on the ground. Aimbotting in a projectile game is usually more detrimental to your play unless that cheater only played up close.Originally posted by De8264:featherfall rune How the ♥♥♥♥ are you supposed to counter that, poison does nothing they just fly into the air free and you lose them immedietely People could be using featherfall, they could be using the flight rune, or they could also be using levitate (a perk that decreases mana cost of levitating and increases levitate height gain).Īlso, poison is almost exclusively a close range gauntlet.

Hitscan games like Call of Duty or Destiny have instant damage from the moment you pull the trigger making these the most effective games to play when aimbotting. An important thing to note, games that use projectiles like Spellbreak or Apex Legends are much harder to use aimbots because the bots don't account for travel time or drop. I couldn't believe the kind of shots I was hitting when I started finding my groove in this game and coming from a console background I understood how these could look like an aimbot. A lot of times what looks like an aimbot to a console player is actually a legitimate flick or aim of the KBM user.

I switched from PS4 to PC about 2 months ago(I've only played online mp games on playstation all my life until I got this PC) and learned very quickly that a mouse and keyboard are very different from playing on controller. Not trying to discredit you just gonna give you my perspective.
